The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) said votes from nearly 75 percent of precincts nationwide were already counted by the assigned transparency server of the poll watchdog.

“Comparing them to 2022 and 2019, it does look that transmission is quite fast,” PPCRV spokesperson Ana Singson said Monday night.

“I think we are seeing here the advances of technology because we’re 5G already. And as mentioned a while ago, not just advances of technology, we’re also seeing the effectivity of the [satellite internet] Starlink, a massive number of Starlinks that were actually deployed, which are helping in the quickness of transmission,” she added.

As of 10:37 p.m. Monday, the top 12 senatorial candidates were:
